Oh my god. I just love everything about this! The first thing that I notice is the absolutely beautiful use of textures and subtle gradients. The color palette is well balanced and the colors repeat themselves in perfect conjunction with the dynamic composition. Though there are rarely empty places for the eyes to rest, the flow of the lines and careful planning give a fluid movement instead of a crammed feeling. Another thing I like is that there is little to no outlines in most places, which is impressive in a type of genre that is known for bold borders. It is easy to tell where your eye is supposed to go, to rest on and move quickly from. I must congratulate you on this job well done!
The middle section reminded me a little about The Ecstasy of St. Teresa, it looks really good : ) Are the colours flats with texture on top or do you use gradients? Either way I really like the way the colours look and ads to the atmosphere of the piece. Great work! ;3
Ah Baroque! What a rare treat to see fanart for this game~ This looks wonderfully eerie. You really captured the warped feeling of the game here. The art style looks a bit like art nouveau too which is lovely. Congrats on the DD, it's well deserved.
Wow. There is so much detail and richness in this piece. Truly speaking to the Baroque period, actually. I would be so interested to hear your thoughts during your process on this piece, and the meanings you put into it. I don't know much about the game, but I'm betting there's a lot more symbolism in this than just the characters.
